One morning a stag was born in a small forest meadow lit by the spring sun. All the animals and birds fled to the new forest prince and flocked to see. The fawn was called Bambi. Bambi is the fifth full-length classic animated film made by Walt Disney Productions and based on Bambi by Austrian writer and journalist Felix Salten. Bambi was also Walt Disney’s favorite cartoon. In America, the name Bambi is often used as a synonym for a baby deer.
