Maya the Bee and Her Adventures is a children’s book by the German writer Waldemar Bonzels. Maya bee is a young honey bee who longs for knowledge of the world and cannot get anyone into trouble. She is friendly, happy, personable, noble, smart, courageous, fair, honest, full of enthusiasm, loves freedom and adventure. Maya’s bee has developed different skills and is strong in many ways in which it outperforms its peers from the beehive. Maya is the first bee to settle in the meadow.
